What We Offer

We Can Help You In Different Ways

It is natural to experience emotional, social or behavioural challenges throughout one’s life. Certain experiences such as relationship breakdown, job layoff, accident or serious health issues, the death of a relative or friend, business or educational challenges, life transitions, and traumatic events often leave us needing more support. Seeking help from a professional through these impactful events is the first step in advocating for and taking care of yourself. You can make an appointment or contact us using the information at the bottom of the page.

Individual Psychotherapy and Counselling

One-to-one meetings with a therapist are private and confidential to help address and resolve problematic issues relating to your symptoms or life circumstances.

Relationship Psychotherapy and Counselling

These sessions focus on helping couples who are experiencing challenges in their relationships with difficulties such as parenting, traumatic incidents, finances, communication, and anger management.

Rehabilitation Psychological Assessment and Treatment

Sessions to help you learn to live your life as fully as possible after motor vehicle accidents, work-related injuries and traumatic events.

Patient sentiments

  • “Joanne has provided a safe and warm environment that allows me to talk about things that I have not been able to talk about with anyone else. I have been able to move through some of the shame I have been feeling and make better choices for myself.”

  • I felt very embarrassed about the fear I had been feeling since my motor vehicle accident. I learned that many people go through the same thing following a traumatic event and by understanding and talking about what happened to me I no longer feel so afraid and have returned to most of my normal activities.
